THE VERY GRIMM BROTHERS - Adrian Mealing + John Denton (gtr)
‘Gilbert & George, almost Morecambe & Wise’ Smoke & Mirrors Cabaret
'middle-class rap' William Coleman
The only thing that cheers them up is you. Adrian is a Malvern Poetry Slam Champ and John isn’t. But John’s guitar playing is considerably more eloquent than his brother-in-poetry’s axeing of the air. Direct action, blind dates, festivals, that wedding, that golden gun, the poetry of raised beds, the arrival of children and tango. Titles include Underwear and new anthology Smoke & Mirrors (Versatile Arts)

Amy Rainbow & Gary Longden - The Imperfect Pair
Gary Longden is a Poetry Activist, who reviews, writes and performs poetry, broadcasts on radio Wildfire and co-edits the Poetry review website Behind the Arras. His work has been included in numerous Anthologies including the popular “Smoke and Mirrors.”
Reigning Malvern Poetry Slam champion Amy Rainbow has supported legends John Cooper Clarke, Attila the Stockbroker and Ian McMillan. Her first poetry collection, Poems of the Unrequited, has been praised as 'Fantastic', 'Awesome', 'Spectacular' and 'Quite good.'
Gary first started writing with Amy when she rejected a marriage proposal. They have been bickering ever since. Think Romeo and Juliet with more pithy poison, think Fairytale of New York but with better teeth. Where will this lilting love/hate relationship lead us? Come and watch the drama unfold, and see for yourself who comes out on top. Poetically speaking...
